Questo breve filmato costituisce un interessante documento storico per l'uso di un apparato tecnico sperimentale di sincronizzazione audio/video fra i corrispettivi strumenti, fonografo e proiettore. Il cantante è Jean-Baptiste Noté, celebre baritono belga dell'epoca, ma la registrazione sonora originale andò allora irrimediabilmente perduta e quella quì riprodotta è frutto di un successivo ripristino.
