Using a one-way stretchy wrap like a woven wrap; a front wrap cross carry
It can be hard to get the tension right with pretying this type of stretchy (that only stretches across its width). The outer layer often feels loose, or it all feels too tight. It can be easiest to treat this type of stretchy like a woven wrap and do a "front wrap cross carry", tightening as you go and then spreading the passes afterwards... you get the perfect fit and it’s very safe indeed. This is not a pretie, so you will need to ensure baby remains supported when there is only one layer across their back.
