Wensleydale Railway - Great Expectations

Steve Davies MBE puts the case for the Wensleydale Railway as an especially deserving case for investment and legacy support. The Railway needs a new engine shed and improved infrastructure and looks forward to the restoration of Aysgarth station as a visitor attraction prior to opening the 3-mile extension from Redmire and the eventual completion of the 41-mile line linking the Settle & Carlisle at Garsdale with the ECML at Northallerton. The Railway's new share issue targets these projects and allows new shareholders to participate in the Railway's exciting future.
