The model was launched in China as the Redmi Watch and features built-in GPS and up to nine days of battery life. Although the technical specifications are the same as the Chinese model, the reported battery life is shorter for the global version—nine days compared to the Redmi Watch's 12—despite it coming with the same 230 mAh battery. According to Xiaomi, the included charger can fully charge in two hours. The Chinese manufacturer highlights the more than 1,000 different combinations available for the model. There are three case colors, five strap colors, and more than 120 watch faces that can be mixed and matched to suit the user's style (and mood). The screen has the same features as the Redmi Watch, with 1.4 inches and 320 pixels by 320 pixels. The brightness adjusts automatically, and the watch is water-resistant to up to 5 ATM. The smartwatch includes 11 activity modes, including a stationary bike and treadmill for times of social distancing. The Mi Watch Lite features a heart rate monitor and sleep tracking.
