Tech Tuesday: The Number One Reason for Loose Steering (How to Fix It)

In today's Tech Tuesday, we address the number one reason for loose steering. It's not bad ball joints, it's not the fact that you need to spend a ton of money on new components, the large majority of the time, all you need to do is tighten your steering box. Grab a friend, do the steering box test shown in this video, and what you see might make you wish you had checked this earlier. But fear not! In this video, I show you how to fix this problem! It can be as easy as tightening the bolts, BUT what you may have to do is reinforce the frame like I did. It's fairly simple if you're a decent welder(even if you're a half decent welder like me:) so make sure you try it out if you dare to. Keep in mind that this work is all custom. In our experience, it has fixed the problem; however, we cannot guarantee that this fix will work for you. Tackle at your own risk! Don't want to mess with this?
