MT. NEGRON FULL HIKE with UMAGABI ADVENTURES

Mount Negron (1,595 MASL) is the highest peak in Pampanga, located in the Cabusilan Mountains in Porac. It is a grueling, 38+ km backtrail major climb (Difficulty: 9/9). The intense trek involves 8-9 river crossings at the start and long stretches of thorny talahib grass, typically taking 18–23 hours to complete. Hike Overview Once considered a satellite feature of ancestral Mount Pinatubo, Negron became the paramount peak of the range after the 1991 eruption blew off Pinatubo's original summit. The trail starts at the Pasbul Aeta community (Brgy. Camias) in Porac. Because of the extreme distance and steep elevations, the hike requires high physical stamina, plenty of food, and proper gear to avoid blisters and scrapes from the dense vegetation.
