Excavation using iDig Grade Control

4Kequipment set us up with some grade control! One of the great things about this kit is I can also switch it over to the cat in a matter of minutes! I’ve been using it for a couple months now and it’s great. This is the first foundation I’ve dug with it but it’s great for doing septics as well. I now don’t have to get out of the machine to lay out any part of the septic or shoot any grades. Using the measure feature I can measure out my septic bed using the bucket, it measures in any direction you move the machine which is really cool. I’m using a laser on this job but I don’t even set up my laser when digging my septic beds now. Also comes in handy for digging in sewer lines and building rock walls.
