This time, on June 10th, 2026, the Niyodo River was still flooded due to heavy rains following the typhoon. On this day, the first sunny day since the typhoon passed, the main river was still unsuitable for fishing. So, I went to Shimohachikawa, a tributary of the Niyodo River, with N-pon. In the morning, we targeted the remaining algae along the riverbanks, but we quickly ran out of fish. The algae growth was still poor, and the fish stopped biting.
