Post-Y2K edginess had pop culture in a chokehold, best displayed by jokes in movies and TV shows that make you cringe today and video games that were trying way too hard to be dIfFeReNt. Pac-Man World 3 is a half-baked (and half-funded) sixth generation time capsule with its strangely ethereal and bleak approach to an E-rated platformer. As young pups, we are all inclined to love every game our parents our gracious enough to buy for us. Sometimes revisiting them years later can be a heartbreaking experiencing when you realize that a game you look back on fondly is actually terrible. Such is the case for Pac-Man World 3, a game I first played on the GameCube upon release! I went into this video hoping to prove to the world how great this game is and how we have a real hidden gem on our hands, but once the rose-colored glasses came off, things only got worse and worse...
