I toured Osaka Castle, the symbol of Osaka, in the morning, had lunch, and then headed to Dotonbori to continue exploring the city. I stopped for ice cream along the way and snapped a photo in front of the Glico Man, feeling like I'm truly in Osaka. Afterwards, I shopped at Don Quijote for some bargains. For dinner, I had a hearty eel rice bowl at Izumo in Lucua. On my last night, I returned to Dotonbori and finished off my trip with yakitori and a beer. I decided to be ambitious and walk a little more on my last day, so I didn't regret it. If you're thinking about a "last day itinerary" in Osaka, this itinerary is a good starting point.
