CRUISE 5 WITH EISENHOWER MKAKA PART 1

Part one of an interview with Eisenhower Mkaka, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Born at Nkhoma Hospital he comes from TA Mazengera in Lilongwe. He did his secondary school at Mtendere Secondary School in Dedza after which he went to the Polytechnic where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 2009, he did a Master of Science (MSc.) in Strategic Management at Derby University in the UK. Eisenhower Mkaka worked at First Merchant Bank, now First Capital Bank from 2001 to 2012. In 2018, Mkaka was elected MCP Secretary General and in 2019 Elections, Mkaka was elected Member of Parliament for Lilongwe Mpenu Constituency. He was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in President Chakwera's cabinet in 2020. In this first part of the interview, he talks about the MCP Renaissance worked underground to ensure Dr. Lazarus Chakwera becomes president of the MCP. He also talks about circumstances that led to his dismissal at First Capital Bank.
