How To Relieve Tired Legs After Cycling. Welcome to the Bicycle Diaries. Sadly, I've not been doing a great deal of cycling this week. This has been down to a couple of things but, by far, the main reason is the awful weather here in the UK making getting out on the road and cycling somewhat challenging. Instead I have been using this time off the bike to do a bit of recovery, although not actually cycling or riding a bike means that I don't actually have a lot of recovery to actually do! One of the things that many cyclists suffer from is heavy, tired legs, particularly after a long ride. They soon return to normal after a couple of days but I have taken a leaf out of the pro cyclists book and invested in something that will speed recovery times up considerably. I've been reading up about something called Percussion Therapy and how it can really benefit the recovery of tired legs and other muscles after cycling or any exercise.
