Tommy e gli altri

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. In Italy, it affects 500,000 children. A documentary film by journalist Gianluca Nicoletti, Tommy's father, was presented at the Senate. Nicoletti and his son toured Italy to chronicle the lives of families who deal with this condition on a daily basis. "Tommy and the Others" makes us reflect on the Italian law, which leaves you alone at 18: the time for support ends, and the problems and fears for these children's futures increase.
