For three months, from October to December, I traveled extensively through the Balkans to Turkey and Georgia in my self-converted fire truck. At home, I also have my Pössl Summit 540 and my Pössl Campstar. I work at the Pössl Center in Metzingen. After many vacations in "ready-made" motorhomes, I wanted to try a vacation in my self-converted Campstar. I'm familiar with diesel heaters in motorhomes and gas systems for cooking and heating. Now I wanted to see how self-sufficient camping works in my fire truck, without diesel or gas heating – relying solely on electricity. I share my experiences in this video.
