Flesh and Blood’s Banlist Backfired

Flesh and Blood released their scheduled Banned and Restricted announcement, and the reaction has been rough. In this video, I break down the recent Flesh and Blood banlist update, what LSS changed, what they did not change, and why this announcement has created so much frustration around the Silver Age Format. The biggest issue is not just what got banned. It is what survived. Victor Goldmane and Arakni Marionette were left untouched, despite both being major concerns in Classic Constructed. Remembrance also stayed legal, which keeps Victor’s fatigue plan extremely consistent. Meanwhile, Silver Age lost Ira, Kano, and Kayo, but Briar remains positioned to dominate after the update. This video covers: Why the Flesh and Blood banlist feels incomplete Why Victor and Marionette avoiding changes is confusing Why Remembrance may still be the real problem Why Silver Age players are frustrated Why Briar may become the next major issue How communication from LSS affected the community reaction Whether this banlist helped or hurt Flesh and Blood going into Nationals season Flesh and Blood still has some of the best gameplay in any TCG, but strong gameplay alone is not enough. If format management, product releases, and communication continue to create player frustration, more players may start looking at other TCGs. Let me know in the comments: did LSS make the right call, or did this banlist miss the real problems?
