What sustains the groundwater that supplies homes, farms, and cities in Western Paraná? The answer lies beneath the soil. The documentary "Hydrosphere: Unveiling the Invisible Waters of Western Paraná" reveals, in a didactic and accessible way, how groundwater, aquifers, and water wells work, in addition to presenting unprecedented data from the monitoring of the Serra Geral Aquifer in the Paraná 3 Basin. An initiative of Itaipu Binacional, Itaipu Parquetec, and the Hydrogeological Research Laboratory of UFPR, in partnership with the Itaipu School for Sustainability (EIS).
