Aysanabee: Live Concert | CBC Music Live

Fans did not have to wait long to hear new music from singer-songwriter ‪@Aysanabee‬ at his sold-out show. He opened with a loud lights-and-sound spectacle of Edge of the Earth, the title track off his latest album. The crowd were treated to a mix of his catalogue – a sprinkling of tracks from Here and Now, and then a delicate solo acoustic set reminiscent of his Watin touring days. His soulful vocals and intricate guitar playing were showcased as he told stories about his namesake grandfather, singing lyrics inspired by him. The band, who Aysanabee describes as his chosen family and his therapists, returned to the stage for a memorable performance of Ego Death before jumping into another new track, Gone Baby Gone. He rounded out the show alternating between his hits and new music, keeping the audience entertained with powerful vocals, slick guitar riffs and pulsating beats for them all to dance to.
