Sirena’s super-cruiser fleet of modernist trawler yachts gets a new addition with this four ensuite cabin model. With some serious 1,500nm range and space to spare inside and out, the 78 looks a typical Sirena, but is notable as the first model from this Turkish yard to feature a semi or fully-enclosed flybridge, giving this yacht a superyacht feel and making it even more attractive to liveaboard owners. A conventional ‘open’ flybridge model is still available but the enclosed models have some interesting knock-on effects. Here, Sirena does away with the lower helm, creating one big, open salon that shifts from lounge to an enormous kitchen and a dining area that overlooks the bow through forward screens. The more obvious benefit is a flybridge that feels like an upper deck lounge, with a bar and freestanding beach club furniture. Power for all 78 models comes from MAN, the semi-displacement hull hitting 24-26 knots depending on horsepower. But it is the 1500nm mile range that feels more important.
