Ege'nin Ateş Vadisi; Deliktaş Kaya Sunakları ve Yaylayurt Baraj Gölü

Deliktaş cliffs reminded me of the Valley of Fire in the Nevada deserts of America. It's such a fascinating place! These huge rocks are the work of nature, but these cavities and arches inside are entirely human work. When you look from here, you witness the fascinating view of Çandarlı Bay, Yenişakran beaches and the endless olive groves and fields of the magnificent Dikili and Bergama plains. It's like you're not on this planet. I will never forget the gift of a blue egg to me from a lady, one of the beautiful people of this village steeped in Bektashi culture. We drive slowly towards the Yaylayurt dam on the main street of this village between the mountains. Inhaling the thousands of scents of the almond trees' flowers and spring. We arrive at the dam lake to the bleating of sheep, goats and their newborn babies that we encounter everywhere. Once again, we find ourselves in an incredibly beautiful nature. What we see and feel makes us wonder why we haven't been here before... Enjoy watching,
