Seller Senesinin Kızı Fatma Ayan’ın hayatından kesitler…

In 1929, a major flood that transformed the landscape of the Of and Çaykara districts of Trabzon province occurred. People died, lost their homes, and some were forced to migrate to other countries. Children born that year later described themselves as "children of the flood year." Fatma Ayan was also born during the flood year and married Ahmet Ayan, a blacksmith in the village of Şahinkaya in Çaykara. She lived a difficult life under harsh conditions. Her father-in-law died young, and her orphaned husband was raised by his grandfather. They were poor but owned land. At 15, she was married to this orphaned boy, who had been raised by his grandfather. Although she didn't willingly accept this marriage, she eventually adapted and gave birth to 11 children, seven of whom survived. Why so many children? To have a son. Finally, her son, Osman, was born, and she was freed from having children. Today, we present excerpts from the nearly century-long adventure of 93-year-old Fatma... #documentary #fromlife #humanstories #blackseawoman
