Tamiya Hotshot Re-re Unboxing and Chat! The First Tamiya 4WD RC Car!

Hello and welcome to this detailed unboxing of the iconic Tamiya Hotshot. This is the re-released version which has a few modern upgrades included in the kit compared to the original version. Joining me on the camera is my great friend Rob ‪@robbrennanrc‬ to help with the unboxing and chat. About the Tamiya Hotshot The Hotshot, released in 1985, is a milestone as the first Tamiya 4 Wheel Drive chassis and the forefather of many similar chassis to come. The front and rear suspension both have single shocks and double wishbone system. The rear damper connects to the wishbones through a relatively complex system. The Hotshot chassis evolved during production, and was re-released in 2007 where the chassis has received a lot of smaller changes compared to the vintage ones.
