If your bike already has a BMW top case carrier installed, remove it first to make room for the SHAD adapter. Keep all removed hardware in case you need it later. Align the SHAD mounting plate adapter with the existing holes on the luggage grid and secure it using the supplied hardware. Tighten everything properly to ensure a solid, stable fit.
