Just Drop Dead: The True Story of Britney Spears & Fred Durst
Documentary and behind the scenes of when Fred Durst and Britney Spears were dating. At the time the public still bought into Britney's "good girl" act that her and her record company sold and acted so well. So when pictures leaked of Spears and Durst globe trotting together and rumor of a romance had surfaced Britney lied to the press saying they were just friends and not romantically involved, which of course was not the case. The reason Timberlake walked away from his relationship with Spears was because she chose to see Fred over trying to repair the relationship with Timberlake. At the time in 2003 the media made it seem unacceptable for pop stars to associate with rock stars, even though Spears was a fan of rock bands like Limp Bizkit and Nirvana (While Christina Aguilera was herself a fan of Korn and Aerosmith) Limp Bizkit are currenly enjoying a big come back, certainly one of the most noteable returns in decades! Limp Bizkit has a reputation for being one of the best live bands in history! A must see live act before you die! Fred Durst wrote a few songs about Spears the biggest being "JUST DROP DEAD" and the newest being "READY TO GO"! In 2013, Limp Bizkit released a new six-minute track called "Ready To Go," and it is a doozy. Featuring Lil Wayne, the song centers on the lyric, "Is that your bitchh? 'Cause she tell me she ready to go." Ready to Go is another song detailing the relationship between Durst and Spears. As the monster track hits, lunging out of the speakers like a tiger murdering time & space and power-fucking your eardrums into the 4th dimension, Limp Bizkit frontman turned hitman, Fred Durst, then starts swinging, taking hits at various female celebrities including Lady Gaga ("I'm so poker-faced, ladies going gaga") and Jessica Biel ("Bitch, get at me if that ass is like Jessica Biel's"). Durst also hits up Britney Spears, who the rocker had a fling with years ago, spits out this gem, "That's right, it's Freddy D, the public enemy, you know that one that has Britney droppin' to her knees." MIC DROP! THUG LIFE! Words of a Legend. Lil Wayne, who is part of the Cash Money records group Limp Bizkit is now signed to, makes his contribution to the song with a rap verse beginning, "What the f--k is up? F--k the world, bust a nut." Classy stuff! Limp Bizkit's last album, "Gold Cobra," was released in 2011. While Durst announced this summer that Limp Bizkit is set to release a new album, "Stampede of the Disco Elephants," this year in 2015.
