Outboard Voltage Regulator (Is this causing my problems?)

Outboard Voltage Regulator – PWF's Brandon is having boat motor issues with his 1996 Mercury EFI 175 outboard. Have you heard an outboard motor do this? Please listen to this motor and let me know if it is a bad voltage regulator, trigger, etc. In this video, I give symptoms of a bad voltage regulator/rectifier and replace one of the two on my skeeter bass boat.
