En mis tacones

Honduran documentary filmed in 2010 as the first part of the TRANSformando Initiative, a project carried out for the F. Ebert Foundation with the AGENTS OF CHANGE program, in collaboration with the Spanish Cultural Center of Tegucigalpa (CCET) and the Sexual Diversity organizations of Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. This documentary shows the violence suffered by the transgender community in Honduras before and after the coup d'état on June 28, 2009. En mis Tacones (In My Heels) seeks to raise awareness about the serious human rights violations of the LGBTI community in Honduras, highlighting their life experiences, the daily police repression they endure, job insecurity, and the prevailing stigma and discrimination that affect their lives.
