Eagle Nest 4th of July 2026 🇺🇸 Parade and Fireworks

I spent America's 250th birthday in Eagle Nest, New Mexico, and the Fourth of July felt different here. From a chilly mountain morning with Dottie, to the small-town parade on Highway 64, to the fire department barbecue, local crowds, flags, fireworks over Eagle Nest Lake, and a few memories that came back along the way, this was a full Fourth of July celebration in one of my favorite places in northern New Mexico. Eagle Nest has become more than just a stop on my RV life journey. It has become a place I love, and this Independence Day celebration reminded me why.
