Fanse-Sennes-Prags Nature Park The untamed land behind towering dolomite cliffs has always inspired stories. In this setting, nature, myth, and history are inextricably linked. All the meadow communities below the tree line were created almost entirely by human activity. Clearing and subsequent centuries of grazing prevented trees from growing. This, however, fostered a rich diversity of light-loving grasses, flowers, and animals. Here, where humans have long since avoided the harsh weather conditions, animals still find ample space to survive.
