Река ЩУГОР. Часть 1. Борьба с ветрами, прохождение Большого порога, встречи с лосями и медведем

The first part of the journey along the river Shchugor. In this part we start rafting from the cordon "Upper Shchugor". Thrown there together with tourists from Nizhny Novgorod. The rafting started at the end of June, so the water level in the river was sufficient for comfortable swimming. True, at first the weather was overcast all the time and it often rained. We tried not to cross paths with the Nizhny Novgorod residents so as not to disturb each other, but we still saw them a couple of times. They sailed on two boats and one day, passing through a network of channels between the islands, they separated and got lost ... On the day when we passed the Great Rapid, the weather cleared up and we managed to shoot its passage in all colors. On the same day, due to a strong headwind, I had a chance to rumble, and in the evening we even met a bear! After a very pleasant overnight stay in a warm hut at the Torgovaya parking lot, we set off further. That day was the windiest of the entire trip. After a long struggle with the winds, Telpos-Iz appeared before us in all its glory.
