Eldorado High School At Zia Preliminaries 2025

Eldorado performs Viva La Carmen at the Zia Marching band competition hosted at the University of New Mexico. "Viva la Carmen" is an arrangement by John Fannin, based on Georges Bizet's opera Carmen. The phrase "Viva La Carmen" is found within the original opera itself, specifically in the chorus "Viva! viva! la course est belle". The phrase can also refer more broadly to various cultural adaptations or artistic expressions inspired by the enduring tale of Carmen. It's been about half a year since I posted an Eldroado performance. Eldorado performed in the preliminaries and was selected as one of the 10 finalist bands.
