In this class we will discuss 1 Corinthians 8:1–13 and examine the following: Paul addresses the issue of eating food sacrificed to idols. He acknowledges that knowledge can lead to arrogance but emphasizes the importance of love, which builds up others. Paul argues that idols are not real, and eating such food doesn't affect one's relationship with God. However, he urges believers to consider the conscience of weaker brethren who may be troubled by it. Paul advocates for self-restraint to avoid causing spiritual harm to others.
