The selected logo is the work of Fajar Novario from Padang, who translated the overarching theme of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia: "Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia." "Your work, Fajar Novario, received 44.73 percent of the total votes. Congratulations again, Fajar Novario. Your work has been selected as the logo for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day this year, 2026," said Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardianto in his statement. According to Deputy Minister Juri, the logo design is visually striking and carries a strong philosophy. It also draws on the diversity of traditional motifs from various regions across the archipelago.
