World Music Institute Presents Cherish the Ladies - 30th Anniversary Concert Symphony Space NYC The all-women's Irish-American music sensation celebrates its 30th anniversary! What began as a concert series organized by folklorist/musician Mick Moloney in 1985 has come to be one of the most successful touring ensembles in Celtic music, renowned for its virtuoso instrumental talents, beautiful vocals, captivating arrangements and stunning step-dancing. Over the past three decades, the band has toured the world, performed at the White House and the Olympics, and recorded 15 outstanding albums, the last of which was made into an Emmy winning Public TV special, An Irish Homecoming. Special guests for this magical evening include Maura O'Connell, Liz Carroll, Deirdre Connolly, Siobhan Egan, Donna Long, Aoife Clancy, Marie Reilly, Mick Moloney, Mattie Connolly, Martin Connolly, Dancers Donny Golden and the Golden Irish Dancers, Michael Holland, Jason Oremus, Garrett Coleman, Joe Dwyer and many more!
