Family Support Services
Every family will tell you that parenting doesn’t stop when the school day finishes or because it’s holiday time. Even more so for the families who rely on the North East Autism Society for help, our additional services are for those needing round-the-clock, 365 days a year support. Whether it’s a holiday club, after school activities or outings for young people and adults, each service is tailored to the needs of the individual and is so much more than just a fun activity. While the additional support enables family members to have a much-needed break, the bespoke programmes are designed to increase social skills, develop independence and to allow those requiring this service to have the full, happy life they deserve. These life-line services can last for as little as an hour or for extended ‘short-break’ holidays in our children’s centre or adult lodges. For more information about our Family Support services please call: Peter Mountain on 0191 410 9974 or email [email protected]
