The Music of Shadowgate for Piano (NES Covers)

Let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit the music of Shadowgate, an NES classic. With the original music composed by Hiroyuki Masuno, the moody atmosphere of the game is brought to life and the tension slowly builds to it's eventual climax. As a fun experiment, I went ahead and translated some of the game's themes to piano. Some of the arrangements are slightly different from the originals. The pieces I included are: 1) Title Theme 2) Entry Way 3) Hall of Mirrors 4) Subterranean Cavern 5) Courtyard The music of this game probably impacted my childhood in ways that are unexplainable and had an effect on me both psychologically as well as on my musical development.
