Springfield Armory “Defend your legacy” Mil-Spec 1911 in 45 ACP at the range. It’s really Good!
Took my Springfield Armory 1911 Defend Your Legacy Mil-Spec to the range. The trigger is amazing, so light I pulled a few shots. I tend to shoot this gun left- not sure if it is my trigger finger doing that or the sights, but in reality I was getting pretty decent groups. I was using mostly mil-surp mags that worked fine, though one does not lock the slide back on last shot. I was shooting Remington Bucket-O-bullets and Federal 45 230 grain round nose. I had no issues with the gun, only the one magazine that won’t lock the slide back “for instructional purposes only” (as Paul Harrell used to say)
