Centennial College’s Biomedical Engineering Technology exists to meet the need for qualified professionals created by the merger between the biomedical equipment industry and engineering and scientific disciplines. These collaborations have created innovations beneficial to both the healthcare system and society, including artificial organs, prostheses and medical instruments, and new talent is needed to keep that innovation coming. Providing an balance between theory and hands-on labs, this program will cover various principles in the design of medical equipment including electronics, computers, engineering, chemistry, medicine and more. You will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of high-tech equipment. By gaining technical problem solving skills, you will be prepared for a challenging career truly doing something good for medicine.
