In the previous video, I was visiting nurseries, and in the middle of that tour, I came across a spectacular coconut palm that really caught my eye. I showed it in the video, and many of you were also tempted… but that day I ended up taking home an incredible bougainvillea, perfect for working with and turning into a bonsai. On this new trip, I decided to return to that place to see if the palm was still there… and while I was there, I took the opportunity to revisit one of the most impressive nurseries we have in Colombia: Decorplantas. This nursery, located in Yumbo, is a place I've been to several times and where I've even filmed videos, but every time I go back, it surprises me as if it were the first time. It's truly a paradise for those of us who love plants. On this visit, I had a clear mission: to find orchids for a very special arrangement I want to create soon in my garden. Fortunately, I found them, but something else happened that wasn't planned… I came across an absolutely stunning plant: Alocasia portei, a giant, imposing, and beautiful alocasia that completely won me over.
