Como Hacer Mermelada de Fresa Casera Autentica

This is a smooth jam, not as thick as the commercial kind because it doesn't contain a single drop of artificial pectin, only the natural pectin released by the strawberry itself. There are no artificial colors or additives. You don't need to know how to sterilize or store it. Once made, it will last a month in the refrigerator and a year frozen. The flavor, if you've never tried homemade jam or syrup, is unmatched. It's also super easy to make. Since it's not as thick as commercial jams, it's perfect for using not only on toast, but also on pancakes, ice cream, etc. Ingredients -- for 2 cups of jam • 1/2 kilo or 1 lb. strawberries, washed, stemmed, and sliced to taste. • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • 1 1/2 cups - 340 g sugar Preparation: • Place the strawberries and lemon juice in a medium-large saucepan. (It will increase significantly when boiling) • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until all the strawberry juices are released—about 30 minutes. • Add the sugar and stir. • Increase the heat to medium-medium and bring to a boil. • Boil, stirring occasionally, for about 45 minutes. (Don't worry if it seems too thin. It will thicken as it cools, and even more so when refrigerated.) • Remove from heat and let cool completely. • Skim off any foam from the surface with a teaspoon. • Pour into airtight containers or refrigerate. • Once it cools in the refrigerator, it will have its final thickness. • It will keep for up to 2 months and makes 2 cups of jam. 🎁DON'T FORGET TO VISIT OUR ONLINE STORE WITH AMAZON, WITH THE BEST SELECTION OF QUALITY-PRICE PRODUCTS FOR YOUR HOME🎁 https://www.amazon.es/shop/encasacontigo Please share!
