A day in Baddeck, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Baddeck has been described as the gateway to the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island's world-famous scenic road. Tourists driving either from Halifax to Sydney or the other way get to Baddeck and get captured by the town's simple charm and hospitality. Apart from the cozy downtown with a plenty of walking trails and restaurants, beach is also a popular destination. Baddeck is about family getaways, scenic drives, day trips, relax, getting your feet wet in the water. Sitting on a patio, sipping something nice and watching the birds or the sun reflecting on the sea sounds very much Baddeck-ish, if you ask me.
