Visit beautiful Iztuzu Beach - Turtle Sanctuary/Hospital - Highlights of the full length of the beach, finished off by the full boat trip back. The bus can be located at the square in Dalyan. The journey takes about twenty minutes and will stop adjacent to the Turtle Hospital. From here it is just a few minutes to the beach itself. Beachfront refreshments and sunbeds are nearby. Return bus tickets are available. Sunbeds can be rented for the day and are on the beach close to the sea and amenities. The Turtle hospital is free to enter. Iztuzu beach is long and arched. Beautiful, soft sand and rolling waves make this a picturesque, but extended, walk. Be aware the beach is several kilometres in length and those with mobility issues may find it very challenging. The sand is soft and becomes stony about halfway for about a quarter mile. This can make walking in sandals uncomfortable. The swimming/sea type shoe may be better for this section. There is a ferry boat that can take you back into Dalyan, for a fee. At the far end there are another set of buildings where refreshments may be bought – there are also sunbeds here that can be rented. The return ferry boat to Dalyan also departs from here.
