Youâll see how Babai Da prepares his signature curry, what spices he uses, how much curry is cooked every day, and the special ingredients that make his food so popular. Early in the morning, I visited Mishti Kitchen near Jagaddal Golghar Park and watched Babai Da begin cooking a huge pot of soybean curry. Interestingly, Babai Da calls soybeans âboneless meat,â and after seeing the preparation, the description felt quite fitting. Along with the soybeans, small pieces of potatoes were added to the curry. The cooking started with mustard oil, turmeric, salt, a little sugar, ginger paste, garlic paste, and several quality spices from well-known brands. During the cooking process, Kasuri Methi was also added, enhancing the aroma and flavor. One of the most unique aspects of this curry is the addition of chickpeas, peas, and peanuts, which give it a rich and royal taste. Most importantly, I did not see a single drop of artificial food color being used. Watch the full video carefully and judge for yourself.
