6/24/2026: Reader's Paraklesis Service
The Small Paraklesis is a beautiful and deeply comforting supplicatory service in the Orthodox Church, dedicated to the Most Holy Theotokos. It is chanted in times of distress, sorrow, or personal struggles, as well as during the Dormition Fast (August 1–14), alternating with the Great Paraklesis. This service consists of prayers and hymns that seek the intercession of the Theotokos, asking for spiritual and physical healing, guidance, and spiritual strength.
