How I Finally Stopped Thinking Something Was Wrong With Me

For years, I believed the labels I'd been given: too sensitive, too emotional, difficult, anxious. I thought those words described who I was. After being diagnosed with autism, I began looking at those same behaviors through a completely different lens—not as character flaws, but as messages from my nervous system. Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?" I started asking, "What is my nervous system trying to communicate?" and “What would support look like for me right now?” In this video, I share the mindset shift that changed the way I understand myself, and how viewing behavior through a nervous system lens can replace shame with curiosity, compassion, and more effective support. Whether you're autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or simply trying to better understand yourself, I hope this conversation helps you see your struggles in a new light. 💙 If this video resonates with you, I'd love to hear: What behavior have you learned to reframe through a nervous system lens? 👉 😮‍💨 🌿 Quiet Your Mind with a Lil Hugster Weighted Pillow (affiliate link, use code HUGONTHESPECTRUM for 10% off!): https://www.onequietmind.com/products...
