Hey everyone! Today I'm going to show you a review of a WWII replica from Ares! The Ares Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk1, model CLA-004. A very high-quality replica with good out-of-the-box performance, excellent build quality, and superb materials. So, I hope you enjoy the video. The Lee Enfield is a bolt-action, manually operated rifle adopted by the British Army in November 1895 and used for over half a century by the infantry, and almost 100 years including sniper versions, having seen action in both World Wars. It is the successor to the Lee Metford, which had a very similar mechanism but used black powder. The Lee Enfield uses .303 British cartridges, a caliber quite similar to the 7.62x51mm used in most rifles today. Its detachable 10-round magazine was a significant advantage at the time, offering an excellent rate of fire. Competing rifles often used stripper clips or required reloading cartridge by cartridge. The Lee Enfield was a rifle far ahead of its time; it is now a collector's item for vintage models and a unique weapon for shooting ranges. Ares offers the Lee Enfield here in an airsoft spring version of exceptional quality. With steel parts and a real wood stock, it is perfectly suited for a collection or historical reenactments. Its high-quality internals make the replica perfectly playable right out of the box. A very distinctive rifle that will be perfect for any player who enjoys playing in a WW1/WW2 setting.
