The UNIFFAC Zone School African Championship concluded on Sunday, March 15, 2026, after a day highlighted by two intensely contested finals. In the girls' competition, the Democratic Republic of Congo defeated Gabon 6-1. In the boys' competition, Gabon and the DRC played to a 0-0 draw after regulation time. Following a penalty shootout victory of 4-1, the DRC secured its place to represent the sub-region at the continental finals.
