How I use Natural Oxygen Bleach, Sodium Percarbonate, at home - Household Tip February 2025

Stop using chlorine bleach! Sodium Percarbonate is an environmentally friendly bleaching agent and is sometimes referred to as a Natural Bleach It has many uses around the home - a much better alternative to chlorine bleach. I use it for cleaning purposes. I gave up using chlorine bleach many years ago as it can damage surfaces and gives off toxic fumes. Sodium Percarbonate is gentler and a lot less harmful for the environment as it breaks down into water and oxygen. However, it's always good to remember it is a chemical and is classed as an irritant so always read the label and use the correct PPE if you are sensitive.
