Khimlasa was a historical place in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. One of the 52 forts of Sangram Singh, the father-in-law of Rani Durgavati of Garh Mandla, was located here. Durgavati's kingdom was known as Garh Mandla because of these forts. This fort remained under the Mughal rule during the 16th and 14th centuries. According to records, the town was originally called Kshemollas. It gradually changed to Kamalasa and then Khimlasa. The name Kamalasa was derived from the fact that lotus flowers were cultivated in abundance here. The structure of Khimlasa resembles a lotus flower. The settlement, surrounded by a fort wall, appears like a lotus flower when viewed from above, leading to its name Kamalasa. Khimlasa was a historical site in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. It was home to one of the 52 forts of Sangram Singh, the father-in-law of Rani Durgavati of Garh Mandla. Because of these forts, Durgavati's kingdom was known as Garh Mandla. Sangram Singh died in 1541 AD.[3] From the 16th century, the region remained under Mughal rule. Later, Maharaja Chhatrasal established his kingdom after defeating Mughal forces at Khimlasa, Dhamoni, and Garhakota. After 1818, the region was under British rule. In 1861, the region was merged with Nagpur for administrative purposes, a practice that remained in place until the 1956 reorganization of the new state of Madhya Pradesh. Khimlasa Fort boasts a storied history. From the entrance gate to the entrance, all the buildings within—temples, mosques, and stepwells—still hold considerable charm and mystery, and are a sight to behold. The ramparts and ruins surrounding the city bear witness to the ancient city's prosperity. #khimlasa #Khimlasa Fort #Khimlasa Palace #khurai khimlasa #Sea #sagar khimlasa #Khurai Sagar #Queen #Durgavati #RaniDurgavati #khimlasafort #khimlasakila #khimlasahistory #ranidurgavati #kilahistory #khimlasakaitihas #sea #khurai #khimlasamadhyapradesh #madhyapradesh #history #forthistory #khimlasamahel #bundelhand Khimlasa Fort Khimlasa fort Khimlasa history History of Khimlasa Fort khimlasa sea Khurai khimlasa Khimlasa Madhya Pradesh Rani Durgawati's palace Khimlasa fort Vlog Khimlasa Fort Full Vlog History of Khimlasa Khurai Khimlasa Sagar Khimlasa Forts Bundelkhand The Secret of Khimlasa Fort Thanks for watching............
