The area is significant in Hindu mythology, recognized for the "first Durga Puja of the world" How to Reach : By Own Car or Bike - Those who will come by their own car should cross the Dankuni Toll Plaza from Kolkata and go straight along the Durgapur Expressway to Burdwan. From there, before reaching the Durgapur stop, you will come to Muchipara. From that Muchipara, you will have to turn right. From here, you will cross Kuldiha along the numerous bumper ola roads to Sanka Hospital, then along the jungle road, cross the new bridge and reach Jaydev Ashram. By Using Public Transport - From Howrah, take the Black Diamond early in the morning and come to Durgapur station first. You can get down at the station by 8:45 in the morning and book a magic car from there. The fare for a magic car will be between 1200 and 1400 rupees. 10 people can sit there. Alternatively, if you want, take a bus from Durgapur station to Muchipara. You can also make arrangements for a car from there.
