Amazfit has a new screen-free fitness band that has a lot of similarities to the Whoop tracker. The real kicker? No subscription fees to see your data. Correction: I reached out to Amazfit to ask about the VO2 Max calculations and it turns out you actually can use the strap on its own for this, you just need to start a specific supported exercise like outdoor running on the phone, AND keep your phone with you during the workout.
