Most of the route leads along mountain hiking trails; sure-footedness and sturdy footwear are recommended. The ‘Harz Hotel Waldhaus’ is located at the start and finish point, where you can stop for a bite to eat. There is also in Romkerhall the ‘Kingdrom Romkerhall’ and the possibility to stop for a bite to eat.
